In room 7 today we read a book from the national library for 15 minutes  and then we had to answer 6 questions on thinglink and post it of our blog.

The Astrosaurs

Room 7 decided that we wanted more people to read or books in our library so we thought what would be more interesting than making Book trailers this is my one its called The Astrosaurs. So we were using the internet to find photos that were similar to the images in our books and then we put them all together in a Imovie my genre was the teen choice.

My book was about The Astrosaurs The Planet Of Peril. Hope you like it please feel free to leave a comment. 

Last week the whole of Waikowhai Primary School had an art show this was my creation of a mythical creature mine is called The Empire we also had a QR code so that the parents and adults could have a look at my slide which will also be posted on my blog on it has the details about my mythical creature like its age and biome/where it lives my creature is a human blood boat with a eye as the spectator for when its  predators pass by.

On Monday the 25th of july the senior syndicate (Room 7,8,9) went to the hall to make electricity circuits,before we started we had to number every piece of equipment.We were all put into groups of 3  with 1 person from each class in my group i had Kieren from Room 8 and Kayci from Room 9.The circuits we made powered fans, siren's, light bulb and red light switch.They all fit in a box called brain box it included a light bulb,fan,red light switch,connectors and battery unit.There were lots of kinds of connectors like 1st connector up to 5th connector.Here's a link to go check out my thinglink.
